When I go through my life and look around with open eyes, I see
everything without color corrections, without sharpening, or
removing blemishes. People wear their wrinkles and scars – and
that’s exactly what makes them authentic.
I take the same approach with my exhibited pictures: They show
life as it is – unvarnished and real.
And even if a camera setting goes wrong for me sometimes,
that’s part of it. For me, perfection lies in the authenticity
of my work, not in post-processing, which I therefore almost
completely avoid.
